A summation of Hermann First Baptist Church: “sinners saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.”
We are a group of believers focused on glorifying God and proclaiming the Good News that Jesus Christ descended from heaven in His becoming the one and only “God-Man,” lived a perfect life without sin, went to the cross, and died on the cross as a substitute. Jesus rose from the dead and ascended to heaven–and one day He will come again to this earth to judge both the living and the dead–judgment is reserved for God alone.
We participate in a convention of churches known as the Southern Baptist Convention and also cooperate with the regional Missouri Baptist Convention, and finally our local association of churches the Gasconade Valley Baptist Association.
We do affirm and subscribe to the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
